Karma Master

In the winter of 2018, while living in San Diego, Heidi began writing and working on music for a project. She had no structured idea of where the project was headed or what it would become. In January, she sat down with a friend and wrote 2 songs – Bandaids, and The Night. September of 2019 Heidi relocated to Minnesota for family reasons but took her music with her.

There, she found a guitarist and the two begin building a band, calling it The Scarlett Tangerines. Heidi had no idea that within 5 months, her two simple acoustic songs would turn into a 4 song EP, which would turn into an eleven song album within the next year. “The Let Go” was released on New Years Day, 2021.

The band split in March of 2021 and Heidi went one direction with the music while the rest of the band left over a disagreement. Heidi was left with the music, the band name, and the branding, but no band. She set down music for awhile, vowing to walk away and not touch it again, but during that time she wrote only one song – Karma. In 2022, she met Chris Thompson
