New Orleans, LA songwriter Christian Simeon returns to the weird and wacky world of music with his BURN (REMASTERED) The self proclaimed King of what he and some of his contemporaries call ‘Lo Fo COUNTRY’ a moniker leaned upon as an approach that tends to give them safe passage to experiment with the edges of what NASHVILLE calls Country music! 

BURN is actually a collection of tunes that was previously released but due to the PANDEMIC Christian did not get to promote the record with touring and the other avenues of marketing. Because of the PANDEMIC, “I as well as the WORLD was stuck in motionless movement,” say Christian

BURN traverses the many nuances of Lo Fi COUNTRY and why it is such a fascinating sub genre. The ep’s 6 tracks provide you with a glimpse into the world and mind of this movement. Much like its older cousin Lo Fi Hip Hop. The same principles are used to make beautiful sounds and Simeon doesn’t disappoint. ” I am a huge fan of songwriters of what I consider fringe COUNTRY artists like Steve Earle, Robert Earl Keen and modern guys like Koe Wetzel.”

Simeon’s record is just a group of tunes , done the way HE wants to do them and how HE sees his musical painting being created. ” I’m just doing what I like to do and if it just so happens to have as many sights as Country music  nuances, I’m more than OK with that.” sighs Christian.
