Favorite Genre

I have a passion for music of all Genres. I like pop, rock, country, old school, some rap and sure I missed some. A lot of songs have a meaning to them and music is good and relaxing.

Who got me started with HRR?
I was told be a friend about Lex and HRR. I reached out to him and did a test show and him and the gang liked it. I was on the original HRR after it got started and enjoyed it. I took a break due to jobs I had at at time and the schedule I worked. I missed being on HRR and checked into getting back on. I contacted Dj Ria and she let me do a few shows and is giving me a chance to be part of the team. Things have changed a lot but are for the best and future of HRR.

Favorite Bands And Artist?
Kiss, Boston, Styx, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Kenny Rogers, Dave Mason and many more also.

Hobbies?
I like to fish, go to the beach and mountains, work in the yard, grilling, compeers and listening to music.

DJ Name Origination?
Marty Mar came from an old DJ knew that told me I should call my show Marty Mar. The name stuck so I used it. After that my friends starting calling me Marty Mar.

Favorite Music Experience?
From being a DJ at some local radio stations I was able to attend some concerts. I see Kiss and cheap trick and got to go back stage and meet them. I went to an Alabama concert as well and went back stage. I have seen a lot of concerts over the years.
